Friday 24th June
No homework this week.
As we are learning about plants in science this half term, maybe you could see which of these spring flowers you can spot in your garden or on any walks you go on.
As today was “PJ Reading Day”, homework is a reading activity.
Remember to practise your times tables on TT Rockstars as well!
The last few weeks we have been learning about the Queen’s platinum jubilee and creating portraits, learning the National Anthem and finding out about the Queen’s life.
For homework, see if you can design a new crown to celebrate the platinum jubilee. I wonder how creative and imaginative you can be!
‘Midnight’ is our song for the Christmas performance next week, please practise it! I have attached the word sheet as well which you can use, see how much you can learn so you don’t need the words!
In literacy lessons we have been learning about Greek Myths. Have a go at creating your own Ancient Greek mythical beast.
In Science, we have been learning about light and shadows. Have a go at creating some shadow art using one of these ideas. You may need to use a man-made light rather than relying on the sun!!
Please keep practising your times tables using Times Table Rockstars. Rock on!
