Our School Council meet every Tuesday lunchtime, with two representatives from each class from Year 1 up to Year 6, discussing topical issues that arise.
Recently, we had the pleasure of interviewing some candidates for the Deputy Headteacher position. We understood that this was a very important opportunity to help our school community choose a new member of our excellent staff team. We created our own questions and each person had the job of asking one or two questions and we all gave their answers a score out of 10. It was quite a grilling and we were very impressed with all the answers. Congratulations Mr Klee, we cannot wait to work with you.
We also organised Red Nose Day where everybody was invited to wear red for 50p, buy red noses for £1 and buy cakes from 20p-£1. We would like to say a huge 'THANK YOU' to everyone who donated to our cake sale, it was great event.
We raised a massive £401.24 which is truly fantastic! Your generosity will help people who don't have the things we often do not think about like clean clothes, food to eat, the right medical help and a school to learn new skills.
