L.O. I wonder...how can we find out about the nutrition in our food?
Find some different examples of food packaging in your house.
Can you sort it from most to least amount of fat?
Can you sort it from most to least amount of sugar?
(Look at the food packaging and compare using the “Per 100g” column on the packaging - this will help you compare two different foods).
Is there anything that surprised you?
Did anything have sugar or fat in that you didn’t think would?
Make a list of low fat and high fat foods. Make a list of low sugar and high sugar foods.
